Soul Centered Leadership is founded on the Eight Principles of Soul Centered Living© by Angela Gwen from her manuscript Training Naked©. Although Angela could not find physical healing from ovarian cancer, she declared, "Despite never physically recovering from ovarian cancer, I stand Fully Integrated and Triumphant in my life's journey having HEALed on a level that transcends all physical limitations and finished my life with pure PEACE and JOY." The heart of the leader must know what it is to heal from the inside out to more effectively harness one’s true potential in life and in leadership.
Areas of Service
Leader Reflection Sessions
Leader Reflection sessions are designed to allow participants a confidential space to explore personal and professional goals, discuss challenges, concerns, and even internal silent fears. It is a free form of exploration and reflection. As desired, confidential feedback will be given to the participant to consider and reflect upon. Sessions can be singular or multiple depending on the participant’s needs. Often, one leader reflection session can help the participant and the SCL consultant decide which additional leadership services will provide the greatest growth.
Leadership Development and Mentoring
Leadership development and mentoring is a more formal process than the approach used in leader reflection sessions. During leadership development and mentoring the participant is allowed to explore current leadership skills, abilities and characteristics. These leadership skills will be mapped by the SCL consultant against best practices. Mentoring will combine leader reflection sessions with specific direction and commentary from the SCL consultant designed to increase confidence and to guide the participant to a stronger position of leadership.
Healing and Emotional Intelligence
Healing and Emotional Intelligence sessions focus on The Eight Principles for Soul Centered Leadership©. These sessions will require open and honest participation by the leader with a commitment to begin the process of inside out change. During the Healing and Emotional Intelligence sessions we will explore both personal characteristics and behavior patterns and professional characteristics and behavior patterns. The process begins with an initial emotional intelligence assessment. Following administration of the assessment, a reflection session will explore the leader’s current level of emotional intelligence.
Subsequently, each of The Eight Principles for Soul Centered Leadership© will be approached with a series of strategies and goals to both learn and set each principle as an essential element of the leader’s character and practice. Upon completion of this work, a second emotional intelligence assessment will be administered to determine the initial emotional intelligence gains achieved.
Strategic Assessment
Strategic Assessment sessions are designed to allow leaders the space for reviewing strategic opportunities, direction, plans, and activities that require deliberation and analysis with the SCL consultant. These sessions are ad hoc in nature but will result in specific recommendations or analysis from the SCL consultant as directed by the participant.
